  • @zzyzzx8 nah, those robots are amazing! LOVE EM!

  • Those robots look crap

  • This serial really was like one big drug trip. I still have no idea what happened in The Mind Robber. Apparently some computer was behind it all, but who built it, and why? Or was the whole thing just a mass hallucination experienced by the Doctor and his companions? Still, I really enjoy it for some reason.

  • @GusF Not to mention that Frazer Hines was in a movie (A King in New York) with Charlie Chaplin (he makes a cake out of Chaplin's hat, who then sits on it--it was Frazer's idea and Chaplin liked it)! Kind of appropriate that Patrick Troughton was so Chaplinesque.

  • Brilliant choice of song for the The Mind Robber, and very nicely edited!

  • @nileqt1987 Well, besides the shot of him with Rapunzel and the children. And a bit more Jamie.

Still, The Mind Robber really deserves fanvids like this! And it's such an obvious song choice.

  • I noticed Gulliver got left out amongst the characters (played by frequent Who guest star, Bernard Horsfall).

Mind Robber fans should check out the City of Spires trilogy from Big Finish. It's a worthy successor. The fact that Alice Liddell is one of the characters in it, makes this video particularly apt! Of course, you've got Zoe as the Mistress of the Land and the amazing fiction!Jamie (that amazing speech about the Doctor never checking on the real Jamie, who may have been hung... WOW.).

  • The Mind Robber is such a mind-f***!!!!!! One of my favorite serials...

  • Great video and one of my favourite songs of the 1960s. Interesting little factoid: Spencer Dryden, one of the members of Jefferson Airplane, was the nephew of Charlie Chaplin, whose slapstick style partially inspired Patrick Troughton's peformance as the Doctor.

  • excellent choice of music for a great classic story.
