@NativeMoon But you will be disappointed if you have hey fever.

So why not just bulid loads of these around the world in famine areas. The world can be easly fed using hydroponics, solar stills & structures like this. USA spending 3 trillion dollars on war, could of instead started creating a utopian country. Harvesting free energy, ultimatly making the money system obsolete

@sustainable2012 What the hell are you talking about. It's a set of greenhouses meant to house a variety of plants and educate the public about the role of Flora on the Earth, and remind us how fragile it is. It is a not a socio-economic-politcal statement against capitalism and banking. And what do the Cherokee have to do with this? We should all build domes to protect ourselves from wind? Stop warping things to fit your flawed perception of reality.

This is a great project... very dangerous to elitism and fractional reserve banking (debt consolidating central planning schemes). This project should be about independent energies and wholistic economics practices via permaculture at home.... using geodesic domes does help with free air exchange, photosynthesis, and prevents wind damage.... the cherokee use to build dome with tree fodder and palms which would keep them cool and safe from hurricane foce winds.... time to look back to go forward

the eden project is so awesome it has the feel of a world wonder, makes me think of the hanging gardens of babylon

Great Place but in the cafe they give you a wooden plank to eat off - it was so funny. We have never seen anything like it - probably being eco-friendly or could'nt be bothered to wash dishes!!! looked like a piece of old floor board.

awesome place, go visit, i just did

There is now a lookout point suspended from the top of the very largest dome. I have some footage on youtube of the view of the entire tropical biome
watch?v=uDci1pzMZS4 if you're interested in seeing the view from the platform at over 150 feet above the ground. People look like ants from up there LMAO
I absolutely adore The Eden Project... it is a must-see destination that will not leave anyone disappointed. The beauty of the landscape and biodomes really have to been experienced first-hand in order to truly appreciate the visionary genius, dedication and hard work that went into bringing it to life.
