@OregonHorse Fire Red and Leaf Green. Fire Red Naturally has Growlithe so that's probably the on the video. I have Leaf Green hich has Vulpix.

@VampireLilyHellsing My first Shiny was (LOL) a Shiny Pidgey in Pokemon Silver. After that followed a Shiny Larvitar in Pokemon Crystal.

Did you know to this ate I have not had a shiny pokemon in my Leaf Green game, ive had plenty in Emerald from Wingull, wich was my first ever shiny, to Wismur and more recently, now, a shinny Poochyena I maned him Delta. Ive also had shineys in DPPlt and a shiny Audino in White after only having the game for a week.
