This brings tears to my eyes; of sadness. My family is all gone; dead. Now I find out that Paul Davis died. I wish I could have met him in person. This song, I first heard in late 1977, when I was going thru a rough time in life. Sixteen, going on seventeen, a junior in High School. Now, I'm 48 and I cry. My family is dead but with the Lord Jesus now. Why are parents taken away, when I was basically.... a kid still? Life is what it is. Count your blessings.

Wow your nephew has a beautiful family! Michaela definitly has daddy's eyes. Enjoy it, they grow up way too fast. Even the dog is cute. If you like this song, listen to the version with Paul Davis and Marie Osmond (It's on youtube). It's great. You can't put a value on such a beautiful family. RIP Paul Davis, your music is great.

Wow, what a beautiful family! You can't put a price on that. Your nephew and his family are lucky, and during the hard times (every family has them..) they have to look at this video, which will renew their strenght.
Have you heard "Sweet life" with Paul Davis and Marie Osmond? I think it's an even better version. RIP- Paul, your music was great.

I am with 58stevie...and I have loved this song since I first heard it, wayyyy back when I was a kid! You did a great job of setting the pictures to music...what memories!
