Most any day you can be my guest. Any day you say,

  • Eucharisto !!!!(Thanks)

  • The Greek Lyric is "The boys of Piraues" Piraues is the port nearest to Athens. The song is about how proud a woman is of her sons. The song is a definite classic. The "kiss me" lyric is manufactured for the movie.

  • @pbot1959 Will you translate for us the Greek lyrics into English?

  • Actually, the film was a European production and distributed by United Artists in North America -- not really a Hollywood production at all. And the English lyrics came after the movie was released. Only the Greek version is heard in the film.

  • @pbot1959 That's because the tune was used by Hollywood for the 1960 hit film "Never on Sunday" and the English language lyrics were crafted to correspond with the plot of the movie.

  • Polar Bear!!!

  • @JRCitrus It's funny. Ive met a few people who confuse Greek with Spanish
