Giants lose in 11. Rick Ankiel's splash hit dooms San Francisco.

The Giants let one get away tonight. Leading 4-1 following Matt Cain's start into the 7th, Atlanta tied it in the 8th. Sergio Romo gave up a pair of hits and was replaced by Brian Wilson seeking a 6 out save. Two more hits and the game was tied at 4, as the Braves did not "fear the beards". San Francisco looked to be in perfect position to win it in the 10th. Edgar Renteria led off with a bunt single, Freddy Sanchez was hit by a pitch and Aubrey Huff walked, bringing up Buster Posey. The normally clutch rookie catcher could not deliver this time, bouncing into a 5-4-3 double play to end the inning. Rick Ankiel then blasted a fastball into McCovey Cove giving the Braves a 5-4 edge, but the Giants could not answer in the bottom half of the 11th. With the series now tied at 1-1, the teams travel to Atlanta tomorrow for Sunday's game. The Braves send veteran Tim Hudson to the hill, facing Jonathan Sanchez.

@Daemonheartlol...I'm actually not a fan of either team, just wanted to make a point...people like Arod and Bonds get singled out for steroids because they are some of the biggest stars...I guarantee you if the Yanks and Braves go at eac other in the WS and Arod hits a game winning HR youd have Brave fans talking smack about PED's without realizing Ankiel is also a beneficiary. No way to know who was using and who wasn't so the best thing would be to just let it go...Gratz Braves.
