I'm so bad at barre chords. I cant seem to keep one of my fingers flat while keeping the others arched so that i dont muffle the other strings. Even if its only a 2 string barre like in this song.

Any tips?

@fiddynuma1 Hey thanks for commenting. Most of the time when I have students that have difficulty in playing bar chords it is because of the wrist position of their fretting hand. First, try to experiment with slightly moving your wrist up and down, you will notice that even the smallest movement greatly affects your fingers ability to do bar chords and arch. Second, make sure the big knuckles at the base of your fingers aren't to far behind or to far in front of the fretboard. :)

@GuitarLessons365Song Thanks!! I tried adjusting my wrist up and down slightly and eventually I found where I had to have it to play bar chords. I wasn't even expecting you to reply to me.. most of the people who post guitar lessons on youtube don't take the time to do that. I really appreciate it!

@TERC94 uhh not really. :) Although I have had a couple students bring one in wanting to learn something on it and I have been able to figure it out and show them. But in reality it is a pretty foreign instrument to me. :)
