I'm a United fan but i have to say some of my best memories were going to Maine Road. GREAT STADIUM WITH SO MUCH HISTORY! I remember we would go to the united match and if the City game was a later kick off we'd go there after and stand on the kipax, a few of us united lads, with a few blues and have a laugh and a sing. Yes, it was a shit stadium but at the same time it was magnificent, the feeling you got their, it didn't compare,One of the great stadiums of football gone, sad days for football

They should of never planned for Man City to move from Maine Road and Arsenal from Highbury regardless of location + capacity. New stadium regulations don't allow for sitting closer to the pitch and just different I suppose. Hope the other clubs don't get new stadium/designs and keep to the original.

Went to maine road for FA Cup semi finals as liverpool fan back in late seventies-early 80's as a little kid with me old man, WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE, BRILLIANT, used to live on Kippax St as a student, went to few man city games, again brill atmosphere, football in general just not same now, if you want taste of old times follow lower league team, I now follow Tranmere Rovers, much more passionate atmosphere at prenton park, NO PRAWN SANDWICH BRIGADE
