玄武館 Shinden Fudoryu Tanemura-Ha Taikai in UK

In October 2008, the Genbukan and KJJR Shinden Fudo Ryu TaiKai was held in the UK. The TaiKai was very well attended with over 300 members coming from all over the world for this special event. Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura was truly inspirational showing so many techniques and applications in detail. Everyone attending was so amazed and excited to have this opportunity of learning traditional Ryu-Ha directly from Grandmaster Tanemura. Genbukan and KJJR members from Shodan level and above attending the seminar were able to test and grade for Shoden Menkyo (First level mastership) and kyu level members attending the seminar were given the opportunity to test for Kirigami (Certificate of Recognition).This was a great success with many participants able to successfully test and grade for either Shoden Menkyo or Kirigami.
