@ImRyozanpaku Like I've told people before. It completely depends what you want to do with yours. Want a laptop that can play minecraft and perform great? Well, then get a Macbook. Want a laptop that can play games far more demanding then minecraft? (And still performs great) Get an Alienware. But any Windows running laptop needs care.So if your going to be too busy to clean and maintain your system I would not advise Windows. Windows is more advanced I'd say than OS-Lion in that certain way.

Would you recommend this laptop or a 15 inch mac book pro?

@27nlittleman Well..their are lots of them. We're now talking about general laptops. I'm sure there are a lot of decent ones. I can't think of many, once I got this last summer, I stopped looking into laptops. I know Samsung has a good line, MSI (Makes gaming laptops) sells for a little cheaper than Alienware. But I can't really say. I'd like to warn you though that when you get a Windows running laptop. You have to take care of the OS, people complain its gets slow, cause they never clean it.

@blackhawk438 But their so cool! thanks for the response. So if your not a mac lover, and im not that much either, but i do have a lot of apple products, and im kind of looking to get more into windows, and i dont need all that power you were talking about, which i agree with. What windows running laptop do u suggest, cheaper than the alienware and mac?
hi mate i would like to know if this laptop is gettin hot after playing games for a long period of time (1,2 hours of Call of duty,Battlefield 3 ...etc).How the FANS are ??? at the moment i have an XPS which is fantastic but the problem it is gettin hot after i play 30 min of FIFA 12 for example.Thank's

@popkaheretosaveyou No, it does not. I have played 5-4 hours of Battlefield and Skyrim. I get no overheat, and no hot temps. I run on a notebook cooling pad, and my room usually has a decent AC on. But it stays on low temps. Outside the AC and in the heat of summer it can go up to an estimated 90, but when your out and gaming like that. Its usually to hot to play. (My hands sweat a decent amount) And I will not touch the laptop if I get really sweaty.

i realy found this review helpful man, i`m going to buy a m14x & i have a few questions... i know u kinda talked about the temp of the laptop but again, did you have any over heating problems? & how is the average temp, and noise ? I`ve also heard there might be keyboard problems of some kind.. is that true? & do you think i would have any disadvantage/problems using it for college?

@akil430 I do get heating problems sometimes, once actually when I brought it to a friends house. But he had no AC and it was the end of summer. The laptop got really hot and I had no crashes or anything but I closed all my games down anyway because it was really distracting. The avg temperature's are about 50 when idle and then go up to 95 when gaming. At least at my friends house where I recorded temps. Only keyboard problem is the Shift key is squeaky, I think this a good laptop so far.

How does it run when linked to a full hd acl TV? I want to get this one because I find the m17x too big, and i'd move with it 4-5 times a week. I'd really appreciate if you could enlight me a little on if it runs well on a bigger (37"+) full HD display!!

@bababaloona Never hooked it up to a big tv before. I have one in my living room I suppose I could try on. But as I have the 3Gb GT555m, it may be a bit easier to run it on a bigger screen. I don't think they sell the 3Gb anymore
