The 2008 University of Southern California Body Computing Conference was held at USC on October 24, 2008, hosted by Leslie Saxon, chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
The Panel 4 discussion, Widening Perspectives: Summarizing the Body Computing Revolution, was moderated by Geoffrey Moore, partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, and author of Dealing With Darwin and Crossing the Chasm. Panelists were Leslie Saxon, chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC; David Cassak, managing partner at Windhover Information, Inc., and editor of the startup IN VIVO; Morley Winograd, executive director of the Center for Telecom Management at the USC Marshall School of Business.
Mr. Moore led this final conference panel, which summarized both the day of the conference and the current status of body computing as a whole. It was a quick-fire panel, with the moderator frequently calling on previous panelists from their seats in the audience.
