Bright Lights And You Girl by Tom Jones

For some, Tom Jones is a guilty pleasure but this live album was the very first record I played on my own so it has a special place. I was eight or nine. It was from my pop's electic collection of LPs. I've always liked this cut the best but the whole album is solid.

By the way. My grandmother Sayde Shepard wrote this song :). Ray Charles sings it too and The Whispers. And she wrote a lot more with Ray Charles

My dad played this album all the time when I was a kid, and this was one of my favorite tracks. He lent it out once and it came back scratched. I recently found a mint copy of it at Phil's Records for only a dollar!

I have this album, it was the first 'Live' album I ever heard and have been a fan of Tom ever since. A true legend, his voice cannot be equalled, only Elvis equalled him for performance.

I have this on vinyl, but why is it not available for download on Amazon? All they have it Bobby Troup and Ray Charles. The latter isn't bad, but I want Tom! :)

Don't really like Thomas the Jones but he has class, this is great, I'll never fall in love and Danny boy from this show are good stuff too
