it was cool to shot the dead space monster at 7:08 but has dead space a place where you pick up something and start kiling the lowest level enimies with your fists lolz?

@lauris47 I played both and i can easily tell you that doom 3 is much more difficult than dead space and it is by far much more scarier. I'm a huge fan of scary games like doom 3 and resurrection of evil but dead space did not even hit me as a scary game, more like an suspence type of game that wanted to be scary

doom 3 is better though im a fanatic of DS. just one thing i noticed while playing DOOM3 a few hours ago...dead space totally ripped them off.....xDXD!!!

@MrMontilius unfortuanly dead space monster where predictable for me just look around the room for ventilation openings and dead corpses, follow this procedure and you will never be taken by surprised on dead space. unfortunately this procedure does not work on doom 3 since the monsters will come out from everywhere even from moving walls so don't corner yourself to the wall, I am saying this from personal experience. and yes I used to mod doom as well.

@37712 In which we agree is in that both are good games although you prefer Doom 3 :) I must keep playing it, waiting for Doom 4 to come. Nevertheless Dead Space has the originality that there are more uncommon situations like fighting on zero gravity, which as far as I played it doesn't happen on Doom 3, but maneuverability is better on Doom 3. They have advantages and weak points between them. Do you know if Doom 4 going to be released for Playstation 3 or just for PC?

@37712 Hmm yes you've got a point. I'll buy Doom 4 with no doubt for PC. I am a big doom fan since it was released in 1993 and I still play old doom WADS XD. And about you said in your first comment, well, Dead Space is a bit predictable for me, but the first time I played it I almost die because of heart attack at the very ending lol. Doom 3 is scarier overall but i've just played the first 5 levels, must play more for saying if it becomes predictable as you advance (to be continued)

@MrMontilius imagine when doom 4 comes out and people compare it to dead space 2. that would be an obvious win for doom 4 and ID software specially with their ID tech 5 game engine which up to this day is still vastly unrivaled by any other. a little bit of history for you: ID software has always been the best company in the world at making game engines which last for years on the market as well as in use on the gamin industry because of their vastly efficient and innovative programming.

@MrMontilius i never said it was a bad game just that... it was not really that good of a scary game. when it comes to being scary and gory doom is the best, not many things beat the horrors of a world full of demons fused with machines or hell itself, but through out the years no other company has implemented this better than ID software.To bad you have to compare a new game like dead space to an alder game like doom 3 to give dead space credibility as a good horror game.
