Two of the 6 post election violence suspects, William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta significantly seemed to change tact, as they toned down their vitriol against the international criminal court and called for peace and reconciliation among Kenyans. Kenyatta, Ruto and vice president Kalonzo Musyoka, backed by 80 mps turned a home-coming prayer-rally at Uhuru park into a political rally, and announced the beginning of what they termed a grand march to state house, fueled by the summonses issued against the post poll chaos suspects.
