A man who fatally shot his wife, five young children and himself Tuesday had earlier faxed a note to a TV station claiming the couple had just been fired from their jobs and together planned the killings as a final escape for the whole family. (Jan. 27)

Help becomes more scarce when everyone seeks it at the same time. Dude wasn't looking for a handout he's looking to keep his job and with hold his assets.

Dood...you just don't get it do you? I totally agree with your statement above sir, but personal responsibility... does that not compute with you or something? All I am saying is that unless you are very VERY financially stable (ie: you have MILLIONS of dollars in assets) you shouldn't breed like rats. I hate to go here, but obviously, the father also must have had underlying psychological issues to do such a thing as well. Help is/was available.

You are soooo right. My mother always told me that the people who seem like the perfect mother/man/husband/woman etc. is acting so they hide darkness. The darkness is within us all, but notice the "perfect" people response to those of us who blow of a little steam in healthy ways like maybe getting a little flustered or even snapping on a person now and then that pisses us off...perfect people keep it all inside and then BOOM one day things like this happens. But we are the crazy ones... yah.

Unless you are seriously balling, you don't need to have that many kids unless you're sharecropping or some ish like that, and I re-watched the vid, nothing at all hints towards this man and woman being rich or even very well off. In any case, may they rest in peace. I won't argue over the dead. Peace be with you.
