at 9:38 steamboat botched the match, he should've lossed due to submission. I loved both these guys growing up, I was too young to remember this match. This also reminded me that wrestlers didn't tap back in the day, they verbally submitted, Steamboat tapped out at least 3 times in the course of this match. Also reminds me of how bad Vince was behind the mic

Steamboat also did the same thing against Demolition Smash on Rampage 92 I believe. His arm went down three times, but the ref continued the match. I did not know about this one.

This was at a time when tapping out isn't how you quit, you had to be unresponsive to your hand being raised three times. That is how steamboat botched this.

This was originally scheduled as Paul "Mr. Wonderful" Orndorff against "Ravishing" Rick Rude. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat ended up as a substitute here! Orndorff was on his way out of the WWE at this point!
