  • Lovely crisp images - but is that a bit of jitter I see?

  • Might be the cart. It was an old one I got off of Ebay. Didn't have anything newer to test with. I'll have to try a roll of Vision 200T to get a better idea, Mostly it was the auto meter exposure I was having trouble with (was overexposing images).

    Thanks!

  • Hey, now wait just a minute... how'd you get those shallow depth of field shots at the end?

Have you been strapping 35mm adapters to Super 8 cameras again? =D

  • LOL! No, not on this one. It was done by just using the macro feature and getting REAL close to the subject. Thanks! Any new projects recently? Will take a look at your profile.

  • @KubaBooba Here is an excellent article on Ebay...search Ebay for How To Buy A Super 8 Movie Camera by the seller named picturepaddock, he covers most of what I wanted to tell you about. With film, you can't record over it. It's a one shot deal. Once it's "exposed" or "filmed", it needs to be sent to a lab for developing.

  • @KubaBooba Not to me. In public especially at an event where everyone is taking pictures, many times when I pull the trigger and the cam starts whirring, many people with HD, SD, DSLRS's and such turn their heads in unison and stare at what I'm using. Some get that its film..and others just get a befuddled "what is that" look to them, but I really never feel embarrassed. Very good question BTW. If you're considering shooting S8, I hope it won't be a factor to keep you from trying.

  • Gotta love Plus-X. Very sharp.
