Nathaniel Howe Tribute (Mordred's Lullaby)

I've been debating on uploading this video for awhile now, due to the song choice. Thinking others may hate it or bash the video because its about Nathaniel. But eventually I said fudge it, I'm uploading it. Nathaniel is right up there with Varric when it comes to my fav DA characters. The guy needs a bigger role and I know there are plenty of Nate fan girls out there that would like him to be a romance interest (including myself ^.^). So this tribute is for the fans as well as for showing how awesome a character Nathaniel Howe is.

As for the video, well I know this song might not completely fit his character, but there's enough lyrics in there that kept reminding me of him and the Warden Cousland. With how Nathaniel loathes her in the beginning, having planned to kill her for murdering his father and the Warden just sees the son of the man that slaughtered her family. Nathaniel battles with inner demons, not wanting to believe that his own father could cause such evil, let alone working along side his father's killer while the Warden keeps seeing images of her slain family each time she looks at him. Since the two have known each other since they were kids, she can't seem to bring herself to end his life. Instead, she calls upon the right of conscription and makes him a Grey Warden. For the greater good, they try to put their differences aside to finish off the remaining dark spawn. In the end they come to an understanding and worked things out. Damn...it's a shame we couldn't romance Nathaniel in Awakenings, I would so have had my Cousland tackle that ass. Ahem...anyways... XD

The idea for the video kept bugging me and I gave in and made it. Hope you like it ^.^

Yay! Finally a Nate tribute video! :) Thanks for that! The song is great and I really like Nathaniels armor in your video. I totally agree with you that Bioware has to make him a romance option in DA3. They cannot create this interesting man with all his "Mylady"-flattering thing and expect us not to love him. xD

Cousland and Howe needs a DLC

there the both aristocrats fought through against the landthing to get there lands and titles back

i always loved nathaniel when he had a conversation with velanna it was so great..

and bioware should make the cousland guy and nathaniel howe to best friends or to couples if the cousland is a female..

maaan i love this carakter.. the 2econd alistair on awakening

Wonderful video. The ending had me in stitches. Oh Anders, you can be so silly sometimes.

And I'd love a romancable Nathaniel in DA3....if done properly. With plenty of 'my lady's in there. (I loved when he did that to Velanna in DA:A)

This is a very good tribute for Nathaniel, he really deserves to be a companion in DA3 if possible. And good choice of song! :)
