Awww this is sooo sweet! I loved the very beginning, when sam's all sexy and assertive...
Wish they had stuck more to the books regarding his character, though...

I remember being surprised at Sam's anger and the "don't be stupid" line, but I understood his frustration with the girl he wanted always out of his reach.
I also remember not liking Sookie as the main character because of scenes like this. She was such a self-righteous little bitch back then. Her behavior here is none better than his.
