I'm sorry to hear there are so many people with legitimate complaints about these appliances. Seriously it's coming up on 2012 you would think making a washing machine wouldn't be all that tough (sarc).
I believe the one's with all the complaints are manufactured by Whirpool but not 100% certain. You can tell by the first three digits of the model number and then compare to the list at this link ..
