Kenmore Progressive Canister Vacuum 27515

Okay, so I purchased this Saturday, day before Easter Sunday...this was on sale and wanted a new Kenmore Canister...it's a bit noisy {canister part} but I like it...I have always liked the Kenmore line of canister vacuums. I like that everything stores on the canister, including the powermate jr. It's model 27515. It's a deep blue in color...really works great for my house...it really deep cleans the upstairs wall-to-wall, but love it for the downstairs hardwoods...the powermate jr is awesome on the carpeted stairs and is motor driven, not air driven like on the Hoover WindTunnel, so it definitely beats the Hoover in that department...anyways...enjoy....

thanks, yes, I got rid of this when I purchased my Miele...I do still have my kenmore magicord canister from 1980...those were built to last...I love that machine and use it every so often...

I am sure you will come to realize, through time, that these vacuums are poorly designed. Yes they seem great the first week but how about a year later? The motor on ours went after a year. Then the connectors between the handle and wand shorted and melted. With the repair costs you are better to buy a disposable one from Walmart and when it break throw it out.

It is so loud because it is on a hard floor. the sound is echoing off the floor and through out the room... we have a red one and it is trhat loud on the floors but on our carpet.... it is almost silent.

its interesting on how loud yours is.. we just bought one of these to replace out 13 year old hoover and its VERY quiet

For every Miele sold...Kenmore will sell 15 of these...There are so many Kenmore canisters out there that you will hear more problems about them.But they are actually very good canisters for the money.But Panasonic does save there better ones for themselfs.Haha.

sorry yours did not work for you....we have had ours for 4 years, and use it 3-days a week on large areas of carpet with cat and dog hair, and we have had no problems at all!! :) sorry bout your luck

I am a home cleaner and had one of these vacs in white, bought 3 years ago; The mini-power mate died in 3 months and the main power nozzle in 2 1/2years.....This is a piece of *hit!!! Made by Panasonic for Sears...Great at first, but WON'T last!!!
