Une orchestration très riche et un chant d'une grande beauté. Le dépouillement de la version du "Second Album" rend, je trouve, l'interprétation de Barbra encore plus poignante. I LOVE this arrangement but unfortunately the version on The Second Album is a totally different arrangement by Peter Matz. Like her single version of Happy Days, MUCH better vocal peformance. But the first two albums were entirely Matz arrangements so this version was left out in single limbo only for those with a 45 and a turntable to enjoy.Thanks for downloading! I await patiently the Unreleased Streisand disc with this and the Happy Days single.

Cannot figure out why this wasn't the best seller of all the versions made around this time by other artists, like Kitty Kalen and George Maharis. Barbra's voice so purely emotive, and stunningly beautiful.

This is Barbra's November 1962 45-single version of "My Coloring Book." I believe it was arranged and produced by Robert Mersey.

This song belongs to Sandy Stewart.Streisand always was a legend in her own mind.

But released one year before as a A-Side single. The flip was her version of LOVER, COME BACK TO ME.

@rebel4569 Oh, no,no, no...this has none of the sad angst of the LP arrangement...it's just a generic late-50's/early60's arrangement. Granted, Streisand is fantastic here, but, really, it is so lacking in the tension of the other version. Listen to it again.....!

BTW I am only hoping for such a disc. I really am not sure if Barbra wants to release these or any more than what was already included on Just For the Record. I do think an unreleased disc is inevitable but more based on my wish list than anything else.
