@Grimganker "something that isn't good for you at all" is definitely an overstatement. while i agree that home grown vegetables generally taste better, store-bought veggies still have the same nutrients that make them good for you. as for the pesticides, rinse it off and you're good to go.

I try not to eat any veggies I don't grow myself. Genetically modified food such as the vegetables and fruits you get at the supermarket taste sub-par to begin with, but add in pesticides, toxic fertilizers etc... and it equals something that isn't good for you at all.
