@jdubb408 I simply pointed out he said to test the primary and he is looking at the secondary you dumbfuck. I said nothing about his method of testing the coil just that he seems to not understand the difference between the primary and secondary portion of the ignition system.

Not everybody has a "lab scope" ya know. Especially ur average do-it-yourselfers like me. I had a misfire on my Expedition with COPs. Check engine light was one. The codes read misfire cylinder 2. So i cleared the codes and simply switch the coil that was on cylinder2 with the coil on cylinder 1, just switched them around. Didnt cost me anything.Then i drove just to make aengine light come back on. Light came on, and NOW the codes read misfire Cylinder1. Bingo! Replaced the coil. Runs great now.
