Saturday June 26, the riot squad moves in to form a perimeter around the U.S. Embassy.
This video contains gross misuse of power.
The man being arrested was a peaceful protester that was an advocate for protection of farmers in Ontario.
In the end it took 5 police officers to arrest him, unnecessary force was used as this man had no weapons or intentions of hurting anyone.
It was painful to experience this scene happening in front of me, but we all knew it was coming.
Make sure to leave your comments on the entire situation
P.S. I did not take any part in the violence that happened during the protests. I was a simple peaceful protester that saw other groups get violent

  • Astounding how many authoritarian followers are out there.

  • @partialtomusic Kind of sad to see people support the very system that puts them down

  • do I press Like or dislike? I dislike the police brutality. So I like that the video caught them, but I dislike the content within... what do I do???

  • @BatteryEaters like the video:) haha

  • The Protester may have been peaceful, but judging by the fences he was clearly in an area he was NOT allowed to be in.

I was trying to find Police brutality in this video but I couldn't find any, it's obvious that the reason they had so many Police is because they were trying not to harm the gentleman.

  • @Klaz he was being choked when he was on the ground! it's all zoomed in because during the heat of the moment I didn't think about the camera I was amazed at what I was witnessing. Also he was an older man who was of no threat to anybody

  • They asked him to leave, he was in a restricted area, he refused to leave, and they gave him ample opportunity. "Peaceful" or not, they wont take a chance and put other people at potential risk, not when cars are burning, windows are smashed, and shots are being fired in the city. He resisted and brought it upon himself. I live in Toronto, and I really wished they moved the G20 somewhere else, but this hypocrisy is sick. The police were there to protect us from ourselves. People are idiots.

  • I know this older man. He is a retired teacher and farmer. He comes from a very well respected family. Being behind a fence or in a red zone should be no reason for a Canadian to be attacked in Canada! We are not in Berlin post WWII living behind the wall or in the red zone surrounding it. Or are we?

  • @Barentine

You are right. They blame the police no matter what. Peacefull my ass...Burning cars, smashing windows, etc.

  • This isn't police brutality, waste of time.

  • Don't people have better things to do? Go play video games or something.

  • @21981twin You are NOT allowed to be wherever you want. Get a clue before you make yourself look like a complete idiot.

  • 1. Restricted area.

    2. More officers jumped in to arrest him when he tried to fight and stand back up 'waving' to the crowd.

    3. Multiple cops are used in all sorts of situations to arrest people that are resisting. If he had gone to the ground peacefully, for being in a legit restricted area like a sane person would, then he would have had less cops on him.

    4. There is no punching, kicking, or physical abuse in the video. This is not police brutality. Naming it so lessens your cause.
