My goodness. Does the sun shine only on your half of the world? U do know that the earth rotates around the sun?
Do a little research on what it takes to make the new cells. Old solar cells have been running since 1070 with no replacement. Then check on how Saudi Arabia produces huge amounts of solar energy. Is a 10 minute video on youtube your only education?

So you can make the sun shine at night? So you approve of stripe mining metals to build the solar panels. How about placing them? NIMBY's well object to that, No wind farms of Cape Cod remember will spoil the view. Same with historic cities, national parks and crop lands. you see how quik this gets out of control?

China and India are being hit very hard by the food crisis. Yet... They have been domestic producers for quite some time now? Why would any food fluctuations from the USA cause problems for nations that don't import food? It wouldn't... China and India can no longer feed their populations domestically. The fuel depleted trucks full of rotting food are the answer. Their are too many people being born. The USA does good and bad thing like any other nation.

Only one of these "experts" hints at the problem in the oil industry. No new "refinery" has been built in the past 25 years.
Expect further increases as oil heads towards $200.00 after the summer. It will not take 10 years as shown here for that increase.
The earth rotates around the greatest renewable source of energy. No the sun does not go away on a cloudy day :)
