Following their performances in Erie, PA, the Spirit of Atlanta and Crossmen hornlines got together in the warmup lots for an annual tradition of playing for one another. Sitting in the middle of this circle of amazing musicians was one of the most soul-rending experiences of my summer, just as it was in '08 and '09. Thank you so much, Crossmen, for keeping this alive. And to my baby blue family, I love you all and can't wait to see you in December.
