On July 28,2007 the airshow community lost one of the greatest airshow pilots ever. Jim Leroy, who was a former marine crashed during the Dayton Airshow in Ohio. He was flown to the hospital but unfortunally died. I extend my deapest condolences to all of his friends and family who knew Jim. We'll miss you buddy.

  • jim leroy will truly be missed by the city of vidalia. he did the vidalia onion festival airshow for years on end back to back years. Who lets the dogs out. R.I.P Jim Leroy THE BULLDOG THE BEST AIRSHOW FLYER OF ALL TIMES.Jim you are number 1.

  • Thank you for such a great video production. I met Jim at Oshkosh in 2006. Jim was indeed the best airshow pilot. I was always concerned with the aggressivness of his routine but he flew the way the Pitts is meant to be flown and lived the life that few others will ever experience.
