FURIOUS Louis Walsh has branded one-time show favourite Danyl Johnson VILE and a BULLY after reducing his girl group Kandy Rain to tears.

The X Factor judge launched his astonishing attack after the band of former strippers sobbed down the phone to him when Danyl cruelly told them: "You've got NO chance of winning the show."

Louis raged: "Kandy Rain rang me crying. Danyl was slagging them off telling them they were never going to win. He really bullied them. Danyl is vile. He's everything I don't like."

The shock phone call took place just days before last night's first live show as the final 12 acts were holed up together in the X Factor house.

According to Louis, bisexual teacher Danyl had been taunting the girls so much that they broke down and put in the panic call to their mentor.

He revealed: "He said none of my acts had a chance. As far as I'm concerned Danyl is arrogant and over-confident. He's playing the whole thing."

Danyl, 27, was an early favourite but his vocal yo-yoing hasn't always pleased the judges. Last week Simon Cowell picked him for his final three in the over-25s.

But Louis reckons his sexy girl band - Azi Jegbefume, 25, blonde Coco Lloyd, 22, Khatereh Dovani, 24, and Chemmane Applewhaite, 27 - has a bigger future in pop.

He fumed: "My girls have more appeal and will have more of a career than he ever will. They're a lot more real and nicer than Danyl. But they are vulnerable. They're scared that girl viewers won't vote for them because they were once strippers."

"But at least they're open and up front about it." And he also reckons there's room for a new girl band in the charts - and his act could fit the bill. "They look better than most out there at the moment," he said.

Louis admitted he's annoyed he is mentoring the groups again this year. "I'm always the fall guy on the show. Simon always gives me the hardest acts. He takes the p*** out of me because he's afraid to do it to the girls." he moaned.
