Freesoul Sessions is MdCL's live improvised jazz-meets-electronics clubnite. Launched in London in late 2004, the clubnite evolved with a rotating cast of musicians and vocalists all joining MdCL in creating complete sets of live club-jazz music with no rehearsal, preconceptions or gameplan. Taking a monthly residency at London's Jazz Cafe, this was the venue for the 3rd Birthday Celebration:
