He's right about Making you're own work though. I mean Marvel and DC are cool and all but a creator should want to make something new and fresh and not just rehash old ideas from the Big Two

As far as comics coming out right now, Mark Millar's work blows Moore and Miller's work out of the water.
Of course Watchmen and DKR are better than anything Millar's done. But Mark is much better at the moment.

In their prime? Is there an age where you peak at writing comics? I enjoy Alan Moore and Frank Miller's work, I just prefer Mark Millar's stuff right now.
