A clip of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones from January 18, 1998 at London's Astoria. This is the set opener "Noise Brigade" and then right into "The Rascal King" from their classic album "Let's Face It"

  • amazing...i saw them in new haven a few weeks ago, and the show would have been perfect had there not been the shitty openers.

they haven't lost their touch at all. :)

  • I was at that show, they played a solid set..I mean Mr. Moran!!! That was the song of the night for me, that, Last Dead Mouse, and Illegal Left. It sucks that Numbered Days and Hope I Never Lose My Wallet were on the setlist but not played.

The openers weren't that bad..the first band was ex-Spring Heeled Jack[Chris' old band], but I don't really like Tip the Van, the 2nd band that played.

  • Yeah, hearing them play Mr. Moran was pretty awesome, and I got so excited when Dicky said "Toxic toast!" because I thought they were going to play that song, but then they went and played a different one :(

  • Hahaha, that was actually me who yelled for "Toxic Toast". Dicky just looked at me, was like "Toxic Toast?"...then they played "Last Dead Mouse" instead, which I was fine with. Still a great song.

  • ahh that's sick

I saw them in '07 at the Middle East with the Pietasters and Big D, and that was an overall better show...I am REALLY not a big fan of Toad's Place, because of the ridiculous barriers, but still, seeing the Bosstones is always worth it.

  • I saw 3 of the Middle East shows last year, had tickets to 2 this year but couldn't make either.

I don't mind Toad's, I have seen so many shows there. I just like the fact that it's easy to be right on top of the stage.

  • Damn, I miss 1998... I just had a different feeling about life, everything was just so alive and comforting...

  • Gotta say, Let's Face it had all good songs on it, it;s just a fantastic work, and it's amazing they've been together for over 20 years

  • The Rascal King is the theme song for the Adam Carolla Podcast.

  • I am so jealous of both of u

  • I saw tip the van open for Reel Big Fish a couple months ago and thought they were pretty good. I'd like to see the Bosstones sometime though.
