soldiers aren't need for protection, we can use militia for domestic problems, the US Military is run for and by the corporation of the united states, a conglomerate of other corporations serving their interest. Agreeable. War's are no longer fought for reasonable gains, true. But respectfully, war is a good occupation or some of us, carrying out orders to the T. If people believe it's unjust and/or the governing body is a cluster fuck, then they should turn a blind eye to it and let the rest of us fight.

we don't ask for the respect, just like heroes seldom think they are, but when you reach your goal and get your badge don't let anyone tell you you don't deserve it. they don't know shit about what you had to go through or what kind of man it takes to face death to keep them safe. you have already earned many peoples respect. its up to you to live up to it now.
