  • Those birdlike headdresses are to die for! I want to try and make one but of course nothing could compare to the original.

  • @NicolaAlexandrovna I am sure the costume folks appreciate your noticing their great work.

  • I don't care what people say, these videos of yours are very charming, Mark. It's always fun to see such interesting and cultural things ongoing.

  • Mark, read your channel name, and get back to that.......please. :)

  • roccopura needs to come back, that was such a fun show!!

  • One of these days...

I will go up to Wal-Mart, or H.E.B. or some super store, buy some clown make-up, get an awesome black duster (hopefully with a hood) with an Anonymous mask, and run around town yelling: "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!!!!!" Because, I will wear the mask, take it off, and they'll see i'm like a jester. It doesn't make sense, and I don't think it's full-proof, but i'm sure to piss someone off.

  • I only hope that at the end of each show, the performers say "these clowns better have my money"

  • Great, but I'd really like to see a wee bald Scots git pop out at the very end and say, That's all folks! or That's a bad hat, Harry! or....ah well...these vids make me think it'd almost be worthwhile to live in a big city.

    Cheers!

PS Not really sure what a git is. Hope it's nothing offensive.

  • @TracyInsomiac

Thanks for the response, Tracy. I find it hard to believe Wavy Gravy is even still alive, but I'm delighted to hear it. And yes, I can see the pattern of descent. Or is it more of an ascent? I think so, from these vids.

I'm going to do it! Not sure how soon, but it IS going to happen. Right now I'm aiming for early fall.

  • @jaluck Believe me, those numbers you survived are all very related. The scenes Mark documents are very connected. Crazy as it sounds, you can lead them back family tree style to the likes of Wavy Gravy...who still does shows in the Bay area. The Merry Pranksters, The Suicide club/Cacophony Society, Burning Man, SF Mime Troupe, The sisters or perpetual indulgence, The circus/burlesque ..... Not all the youngsters in the video know it, but they have one hell of a lineage.
