What version of DD-WRT are you using. I have just bought a Linksys WRT-54 V8 with DD-WRT installed that does not have the same services sub-page as you show on your video. I obviously need to upgrade, but would appreciate knowing which version I can use. Thanks for your assistance in advance.

Great tut but here is what I would change. If you research the dd-wrt wiki they actually recommend leaving web gui disabled because its a resource hog and a security risk. Instead they recommend using SSH tunnel which you then can access the router GUI as if you were in the network. You use h t t p : // localhost since you are virtually in the router and everything you do is encrypted including login to router. So I would remove suggestion to enable web gui

@D0M1N8R1x true, but i like to put a test method on my tutorials, enabling gui temporarily helps that, it helps single out problems with telnet client, it is a resource hog, but it depends on the router, it has little to no effect on my Atheros based router, dir 300. it is optional
