TALL PINES WAS FUCKING SICK. best race of life
-
Yeah, it is.
My dad won't drive me out to see it because it's 4 hours away and he thinks 54 cars is terrible (he grew up in Italy and there a generic hillclimb event would attract at least 100 cars). I mean, it being during the week really hurts my case though, so I won't even try to convince him (nor do I think I could lose a week of schooling).

Is the first car with the lights and siren known as a "pace car" or a "get the hell out of the way, here comes the race cars" car?

I like you second description better. That's what they should call them. Then the last car/truck is the sweep. They drag everyone out of the ditches.

Fun Fun Fun! And pretty scary since you can't tell if they're going to wipe out crossing the bridge or not. Thanks, Yippeee.

glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching! It is a much more intense experience in person. Always a fun and interesting event to spectate at. Last year everything was covered in snow and slippery. But that was before I had video.
