The Cutting Edge [Doug/Kate] - Forever (Chris Brown)

The Cutting Edge (1992)... My All-time fave!!! I can watch it a million times and still feel like it's the first time! The chemistry between the two characters just so great and simply irresistible!:)

"NHL prospect Doug Dorsey is injured in an Olympic hockey game which leaves him unable to play professionally. Pairs skater Kate Moseley is an ill-tempered figure skater whom no one will pair up with after a fall during the same Olympic games. With nowhere else to go, Kate's coach brings in Doug as a potential partner, although Doug has no figure skating experience. Kate is none too thrilled about this arrangement and tries to antagonize Doug into leaving, but his strong work ethic and lack of options convinces him to stay in it, to the point that he begins to like figure skating! The pair undergo grueling, rigorous training to finalize a program for U.S. National championships - and from there, the Olympics and a possible gold medal."

i liked it like with the modern song and what not, and i wish there were more but it was with the same scenes over and over again. Is it like hard to find them or something?

hey am glad you liked it... unfortunately i haven't got a hold of dvd this film... but when i get a chance, i'd definitely do an encore cuz there are lot of great scenes from this movie. actually, someone was kind enough to upload the entire movie b4 but the thing is the thing is it wasn't hq...

Great love story idea, taking ice skating and putting a love story narrative to it. And they couldn't have found two more perfect actors to pull it off. You knew they would get together at the end, but it was still a great ride to see just how they would do it.
