[MAYBE PATCHED]Portal 2 -Chell Coop Replacement

I messed up some config files and changed Coop model to chell model ,people can actually see me as chell in game and affect another player but usually only me have chell model or noone have it at all

It does still work, just not the same way.

in the items_game.txt file (found at steam\steamapps\portal 2\portal2_dlc1\scripts\items). change one of the .mdl lines of

"model_player_per_class" { "ballbot" "models/player/items/ballbot/b­allbot_beanie.mdl" "eggbot" "models/player/items/eggbot/eg­gbot_beanie.mdl"

so that it reads "models/player/chell/player.md­l" Then, in co-op, have you or your partner put on your chell hat. put in the console: "setmodel chell/player/chell", no quotes

@DragonTamerUnleashed You were probably P-body, in which case you'd need to use remote view to see chell.

when you gesture as chell its so funny cause she just stands there and if you hug and both people are chell one chell goes inside the other chell XD

@mrbob806 I did see Chell's model on P-body when i viewed the items, But I did not see chell otherwise.

@AlyxVance14 use the console command (once cheats are on) "setmodel player/chell/player"

@DragonTamerUnleashed If you replaced the text correctly, saved, opened the game, went into coop, turned cheats on, saw the chell model in-game (either have your partner put the beanie on, or put it on yourself and look through remote view), then entered the setmodel command, it should work. that's all there is to it
