Some info about the seat. I wanted a shorter looking tail with the same feel so I decided to just cut down the back half of the seat. It turned out easier than I thought it would be. I used some unistrap a few bolts and some glue to fab a shorter seat pan from the origional. The origional foam was in rough shape so I wanted to get some new stuff. I was able to find only one place in the world with the last remaining seat foam for this bike. It came with the cover for about $80. The foam kit was designed to lower the seat about 2 inches. looks pretty good now but it has been the hardest seat to cover ever. I cut down the foam and since the cover did not match the foam or pan correctly I eventually broke down and cut about an inch off the front lower corners of the seat. It looks great on the bike since I have changed the body panels and lines anyway.
