That's an open rural road... the guy driving the van obviously saw the biker coming and figured he'd be able to make the turn anyway. If the biker was in a car, this would have caused a collision, but instead he was on a bike an was able to avoid a collision so he slid out instead. Sure, the biker was speeding, but the actual accident was hardly his fault.
