The "Maverick" is what it's name implies - it is a maverick transportation system, a flying car that anyone who can drive, can fly - in just hours.
-Road legal

-Robust suspension for 'off roading'
-Float capable
-Dual drive (transaxle or propeller)
-Proprietary mast and spar system make crosswind operations possible
The Maverick is the result of 6 years of research and development by the Indigenous People's Technology and Education center, a non profit organization. The primary objective is humanitarian use in frontier areas of the world. Developing a commercial market will help reduce cost in frontier use.

Looks really cool wouldn't mind having one of those. How long can it stay in the air for? and as soon as you go back to the ground you have to stop the vehicle and fold up the parachute?

I've heard worse music, but really now, this video shouldn't need a power-driving drum beat accompaniment. I really hate the trend that seems to say YouTube videos are nothing without a loud bass beat soundtrack.

You need a drivers license for the road and at least a light sport powered parachute rating for the air.

Do the blades have any extra protection in drive mode?

The blades are booted with sleeves and of course not spinning in drive mode.
