From Brown versus the Board of Education to IDEA to the Bilingual Education Act, the NEA has always stood by and fought for, one of their guiding principles: that all children deserve a great public school and that public schools are one of the cornerstones of our great democracy.
The undersigned employees of the US Public School System do NOT want to be represented by the National Education Association. Should the undersigned make up 30% or more of the bargaining unit, the employees hereby petition the NLRB to hold a decertification election. Should the undersigned make up 50% or more of the bargaining unit, the employees hereby request that US Public Schools withdraw recognition from the NEA immediately.

I am a union memeber and was laid off last month.
NEA has done nothing for those of us that have been laid off. No help finding another job. No help with retrainning programs. No help with administration or politicians to save our jobs.
You certainly have done a great job helping unqualified teachers. You have done a great job giving $ to politicians that don't care and $ to elections that push a social agenda and do not have a thing to do with education.
