@1j0k3 I don't want to go on end about the benefits of cannabis for it's material use and otherwise, but, you get the idea, know what oil companies are capable of, like, how they got the fucking army involved to help their business, that this is not some conspiracy bullshit, there is a lot of propaganda against marijuana to this day, for the profit of certain industrial sectors, I don't find it far-stretched at all.

Marijuana by itself doesn't cause brain damage. However, marijuana grown in volcanic soil (such as South America) has a high mercury content. Mercury is a funny chemical: In its natural state, its harmless and can pass right through the human body if drank. However, the moment its vaporized, such as by smoking, it runs right to the head and plays Hurricane Katrina with brain cells. With all 1960-70s pot from South America, no wonder those smokers ended up with brain damage from all that mercury.
