The Neoliberal's own theories would come around to this if they were more introspective. For example, Milton Friedman once said, whatever a society rewards, it finds it get's more of. This profit habit is all you need to know in order to realize that there will never be a privatization sale via public IPO.

It is pretty obvious that for free market capitalism to work, companies need to be motivated in such a way that their best outcomes are outcomes the rest of us would find acceptable. By way of analogy, society should reward better the person who saves up and buys a VCR more than the person who breaks a window and takes one. Similarly, companies who use safe mining techniques that don't drop arsenic in drinking water should find that's a competitive advantage.

True left-wing is anti-capitalist; always has been the true definition of left-wing. The fact that right-wing dolts like you brand Democrats as "left-wing" is a tactic which limits possibilities, i.e. the Democrats are already left-wing, therefore there isn't anything that needs to be done beyond electing more Democrats.
