@pinzgauernorcal You bet- a flashing check engine light means you have a misfire. You want to pull the codes and see what's up. If all you get is a P0300 or maybe a P0171 it could be a MAF or vacuum leak etc. If you get specific P030X codes a tune up will likely correct it.

Hi Brian i noticed my engine started misfiring the other day.Today it got worse and the check engine light flashed . Do you think a tune up will fix that ?(im hoping its a bad plug or wire? ) im doing it in the morning, thanks for this informative Subaru videos !!!

hey great vids brian. im in japan right now and they are wanting to charge me and arm and a leg for wires and such for a tune up. you know somewhere i could get plugs and wires for my 2001 Subaru Legacy. and also if you had any videos on how to change the rear differential bushings?
