Seattle happened in '70. Brian was replacing a sick Mike for some odd reason or another. Too bad the only source for that concert is a shitty audience recording.

Man, this is unbelievable!

I wish Mike had kept his asides and comments to himself. Also, It seemed like he cut the performance of short with his "thank you." Control freak and a showboat.

@morninggloryseed This is Brian singing. I know that he sang in Hawaii in 67. The only other time it could be is Seattle 71 (?) and a couple of Whiskey a go go performances in the early 70s. The next time he played live his voice had changed.

This concert is available in various "bootlegs" in circulation. This concert wasn't released because of "The Beach Boys" laid back performance and different arrangements of their songs made by Brian Wilson. I personally like their performance because it is very stripped down and their harmonies are still quite good. Too bad it wasn't official released.

@TheSom03 "In August of 1967, the Beach Boys went to Hawai'i to record a concert that was to be released as the live "Lei'd In Hawaii" album." It was never released. This song is a bonus track on the Beach Boys Concert / Live in London CD. Other than this, I'm not sure if any other recordings are available. I know that some of the rehearsals for this concert were recorded and are out there somewhere.
