Our final days in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Bobby and I climbed the 14,064ft Humboldt Peak on day 4. This, while still a taxing climb, is the easiest of the Crestone Group's 14ers to climb, requiring only minimal scrambling over boulders and no technical moves. We made it up and back down in 5 hours, giving us... a nice half-day to recover for the heavy backpack out the next day.
