HP makes great printers, but the bundled software for Windows is pure bloatware. Brother makes a decent colour laser printer and Brother doesn't foist crapware on the end user.
For Linux, HP is just lovely. Brother also 'gets' Linux.
On a side note, one trick I've learned is to have a decent mono laser for most office jobs and a cheap multi inkjet for scanning and the (rare) colour job.

To buy a printer you just go to wallmart

btw it is Walmart, and you won't find much to choose from there.
