The degree headings are inaccurate on my unit and I see here in your demonstration that yours is as well. The rotator turns 180 degrees as seen by watching the alignment of the top with the bottom, yet it says it turns only 173 degrees... Is there any way to fix that? For a consumer OR a tech, i.e. rewiring, adding a pot, etc. I know that three wire units go by "timing" but that should be some how adjustable... don't you think?
Nice video. Thanks! I currently have a Channel Master Antenna that is fixed in one position and gets me lots of stations, but I often wondered what I might get from Toronto, ON.
I have this same rotor, bought it 2 years ago, and when it gets cold it wont turn, why?

A good little rotator but not much good for a larger beam.
