My reply to Rev Barry's Spiritual Warfare clip!!
Be Persistent. Never give up. Never stop trusting and believing. Remind God of His promises. Remind Him of the things He's done for you. Patiently stand on God's promises, and refuse to accept what the devil wants to give you. In order to claim your inheritance, you need the kind of persistence Jacob had when he wrestled with the angel and said, "I will not let you go unless you bless me!" (Genesis 32:26)
Wage Spiritual War. Paul tells us we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against Satanic principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). This isn't a "once and a while" thing for you to do—it's something you have to do every day. I've learned that most things in life are a battle. Nothing truly worthwhile comes easily. That's why Jesus says that "the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent people take it by force" (Matthew 11:12). There's no room for timidity or passivity if you want to receive your full inheritance in God's Kingdom.
